Hello friends,

I had a chance now to run my three rtr wagons. Everything looked great apart from some niggles. One ladder needed to be 'pinged back' in place and two buffer heads became detached, since the wagons could not go around curves with Roco close couple heads.

I emailed Bernd straightaway who has given me promptly a long and kind response. He acknowledged the issue with the Roco close couple heads and he undertook to provide an adapter to remedy the issue with the couplings to all who bought from him.

Meanwhile, I used the Roco extended head 40287 and the wagons run perfectly. They were so good that Les took a fancy to two of them so I now have the one.

However, I have ordered more, though I have not had a reply yet as to whether that is possible or not.

Hi too all,

Lok Schlosserei is still in business. I exchanged emails with Bernd Schlosser about a week ago. Sometimes he is slow with email answers I have to notice but he is always helpful! If you don't get an answer please write to him again. I will also order some more kits and this is definitely possible. I also know that sometimes he takes longer holidays (he is a pensioner ??) so it could be now that with all the Christmas stress that he has no time for modelling. :ugeek:

Cheers
Andreas

P.S. My 5 Z6 are finished and are now in the paint shop. I will post some pictures. They are currently being primed....painting will finish weather permitting...

018 and 034 at Gefira sidelines, 29/12/2017

Quite interesting is the presence of a yellow ribbon trace at the second one...
Does anybody knows if they were ever used in pairs like the Z3 were used as Z11?

What gorgeous wagons!
I was (very) lucky to find a Brawa special edition of a very, very similar wagon during a trawl of Athens model shops a few years ago.
However, I'd love another one at least - is there any chance at all of a re-run of the kits, please?
Many thanks,
John.
Cheers,
John.

Thank you, Barba P!
I have written the good Herr Doktor a (hopefully nice!) email in my best German(!) and I await his response.
Fingers crossed.
Ya Sass,
John.

John.

I hope your German is good enough
The model is just great! I have one ready made and three more to build.
One will be with a brakeman's cabin, provided by Johannes ;)
