Hi to all,

the model producer lok schlosserei from Germany anounced the model in N scale. I asked him if he wants tonproduce it in HO scale. The answer was that it is not planned but if 20 kits will be ordered it will be produced.

Lok schlosserei produces etched brass kits. The price range for the kit will be around 60€. Are you interested? I think we will get 20 kits together.I think we can ask him to make us greek decals.

Cheers

Andreas,
The n gauge model http://home.arcor.de/lok-schlosserei/ they produce does not seem to be the same with the OSE Romanian Z3. There seems to be a difference in the number of side ribs.

I think the one that Andreas has spotted is the CFR Gbs at the announcements, at the bottom of the photo http://home.arcor.de/lok-schlosserei/

I could afford 3 of them as a Kit and make the decals myself, unfortunately I can't spend 120 Euros for a complete one

edit: Christo, I just see that you have replied in meanwhile, I have to look at it again

edit again :) : as I see it, it looks almost identical with about 12 ribs if I managed to count them right....

BarbaPanagos you are absolutely right.

I also now remember that I had approached some company in the past about the same project. It might have even been the same guy. Anyhow, the prices were discouraging.

Hi to all,

I think it is the right one. It is a Romanian Prototype, so it should be the same one. I can ask for a picture of the Romania prototype wagon in order to see it. I think if the price is 60€ for the kit including decals it is ok and very reasonable....I want only serious interest so that we can continue if we want.

Cheers

Hi to all,

I'll post the photo capture of the website in order to make it clearly than the link you posted.

As we talked in the Z5 string and the 'old' PIKO model, PIKO one is similar to this Romania 1974 Z3.

Due to my previous experience with modellers, if we're going to produce a new model (in a long run), but based on an existing one, it could be possible to ask him to make necessary (they're little one, mainly ribs) changes to make the correct one.

If not, it doesn't make sense to produce a new model when PIKO is still -but difficultly- available. Don't you think so?

Moreover, you've to notice that we've to ask them also to make a special developmento for the hut.

No, no BalkanExpress, you got the wrong model. The right one is the one at the bottom of this Neuheitenblatt page.

Good morning to all,

We can see taht, apart from ribs, windows are close to roof instead of little space existing in real wagon.

Just to tell to the manufacturer if we get involved with this project in H0.

As you told beforee, Is the final price 60€ just for the kit?

Regards

I saw that and I think in his drawing it is the same. Just the quality of the drawing is bad. I have send him the links from the forum to see what he can do.

I phoned him yesterday. The price of the kit will be between 60-70€ max. The kit is complete in Brass with all the neccessary parts including decals. I will just ask him if als NEM pockets are included. He can also offer a RTR wagon for 120€.

Cheers

I remembered now. I had approached this company about the Romanian Z6. It looks identical to the Greek one. Unfortunately I could not find 20 orders. But things might be different now. Good luck Andreas.
