Photo balkanmodels: November 1997 at NES Thessaloniki. It is getting dark and using flash in those days was not an option since it would attract unnecessary attention from the officials. Wagon 156 9 425-1 just visible.

Photo balkanmodels: November 1996 at NES Thessaloniki. There used to be an ΕΠΙΚΟΥΡΑ small parcels/newspapers overnight service between Athens and Salonica. One in each direction. It used to comprise of a few 2 axle brown vans and a Staff Van at the end. The engine usually used was a Ganz A250. Here is an A100 shunter shunts the wagons to Line 2 late afternnon in preparation for the night service.

Photo Balkanmodels: October 1990 at PES Thessaloniki. Wagon 156 9 415-8. This one is Gbgss. For the historian: These sidings are long gone. They gave way to another highway. Years of service wiped out for the motor car.
