I am a member of the german wagons-lits-forum and I became a reference, that this coach

might be in Drama in this workshop: Bing-Maps.

On the same view below the workshop on this satellite photo, right beside of the pedestrian bridge, stands in center of this picture this car (white roof). From this sight using the window rhythm of the compartment side it may be a sleeper of the type Lx, maybe it could be this sleeper:

CIWL 3493 & 51 66 06-41 121-8 - OSE 51 73 06 41 121-9 - 51 73 70-40 298-7 - LX (Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon, Birmingham 1929) Present location unknown.

I know, satellite photos are seldom up to date as e.g. this bing-maps picture of the railway museum with WL 3904 and WR 4108 shows: bing maps of Thessaloniki Railway Museum. Today these cars are standing parallel to the tracks.
But maybe someone can confirm the existence of this Lx car in Drama, or designate his whereabouts.

By the way: Currently we collect the current whereabouts of each still existing car CIWL in the world, with picture link or source to its owners under this link: wagons-lits.de.

--> First of all the satelite photo is old and now the two CIWL wagons which are still there, are locked inside that "workshop", and they are the two excursion-coaches (WR 88-20 701-5 and ... i can't remember the second one... i think WL 71-48 250-9).

--> 88-20 702-3 now is inside "EOTH" (ΕΟΘ) at Thessaloniki, half-restored . (There is one more CIWL carriage too).

Yes, thank you, there was a mistake on my side - The workshop hall of the 4004 (SEK 1002, OSE ...702) is that one on Bing Maps I think.

I have the many coordinates that were transmitted to me from Greece confused. But in the hall in Drama then are the former OSE museum cars 4001 and 3937 (250 ...)?

--> Yes, the ex-excursion coaches are inside that Drama building.
