ACME made some essential modifications, but did not modify the roof of their standard JZ model, other than add some vents. In actual fact the roof of these ΟΣΕ carriages are slightly higher than those of the Yugoslav versions. The roof profile should be the same as the JZ sleeping car, also made by ACME, and which is slightly higher.

Other examples, which I saw in Greece:

thanks Pierre for your photos, they are the first in here of this type in their original scheme, white lettering and black painted lower part on the side ;)

about the model, as Christo has first pointed, the roof should have been white than silver and painted all around.
but even with these inaccuracies is a nice model and better than nothing :D

In those years, the contracts for the purchase of the coaches included painting the frame black.

It's a pity that ACME did not modify the roof on ΟΣΕ coach :(
Such mould with modified roof could be also used to get the Yugoslav version of couchette cars with high roof and even MŽ version (Macedonian Railways).

Good morning to all you,

Does anybody gets any of those decals that eRail were doing to personalize his OSE GOSA limited edition coach?

Regards

Hi Balkanexpress,

erail has not printed them yet due to problems with Letraset and the rub down transfers. I talked with him last week but the problem will be quickly solved. My informations are that a second batch of unumbered Bcm is on the way.

Cheers
Andreas

The fat controller was promised some carriages from the second batch with the roof correctly painted. But he is not as lucky as Andreas to receive information about it.

It would be great, Christo!

And also that the 'letter impresor' would notice that two decorations can be made by making some transfers in yellow or white lettering
