So, we have another version, my friend Barbapanagos, for repainting the Bcm coach, aren't we?

Hi there, friends

Are the Alpha Trains coaches equiped with light?

I've bought one and when revising the bogies I've noticed some pieces as light contacts pressing the lights.

Does those coaches have inner lights?

Adelardo, hello.

They don't have interior-lighting. You need to buy the interior-lighting - kit to insert it and connect it to the upper-parts of the bogies, that's why they wheels have metal contacts attached to the ends of the axle-boxes, as well as the contacts attached to metal-strip / and or parts on the chassis, such as to make and keep electrical-continuity with the lights, when installed.

Probably ESU is the best brand I think for Innenbeleuctung / interior-lighting.

Regards,

Dimitris

Adelardo, do not forget to "loosen" the metal strips because they grip the wheels too tightly and that creates unwanted friction when you pull a long rake.

Thank you, both Dimistris and Christo.

I'll "remove" those brass parts, moving them to an upper position, because I don't really like coaches with inner lighting

Good afternoon to all members

Watching to this BarbaP picure of that Bcm ex-DB couchette coach with the broaden dark blue strip...

51%2073%2050-40%20035-7,%202003b.jpg

I have a question; Does this couchette/ sleeping car has, in the other side the same window distribution as in Tim's picture

DSC01012.jpg

Or has an equeal distribution both sides as the 2nd class coaches?

regards
