You're right Pierre about the windows.
At the Heris models the frames look a bit narrower than they should.
Also the lettering and markings are too faded for my taste...

I have added both at my collection but in overall Johannes' Piko based conversions look quite better :D

faulty heris1.JPG

Mine had the greek writing missing, so I sent it back for a replacement.

Geetings to all!First post.. :D

HERIS needs better QA control for sure...
I bought 2 of them a while ago.The Bcm and the Bm.
They got some mistakes that I couldn't ignore so I had to fix them:

-Painting of window frames (AK interactive bronze) plus simulating the two piece window on the doors. All the windows painted with masking tape because the 2 large window plastic parts are glued on the wagon.Trying to removed them will break apart..
-Painting of door handles
-Painting of corridor doors
-Painting of interior / seats etc + installation of a handle(Albion alloys) along the corridor according to the Greek original.
-Dismantling of surplus equipment from under the chassis(This was hard and needed extra care because all those parts are glued..again..), and construction by molding an additional equipment box according to the Greek prototype.

-Silly errors of Heris that I corrected:
-Bogies are posisioned in the wrong way...I turned them around..(Shock absorbers to the outside).Power generator removed and glued again too
-4 new bogie shock absorbers were made of milliput molding and evergreen rod to fill the missing ones on both wagons...Heris drilled the holes but never put the absorbers in place..(Order Spares?Seems whith Heris this is not an option  )

Still not 100% prototypical but .... I think I did something.
Molds were made thanks to the Blue stuff from Green stuff world..
Here are some photos after the improvements.

Welcome to our company Basili and thanks for your contribution. You have done a great work.

I'll have to compare my model to your modified under-frame to spot the conversion.
What is an obvious improvement is the windows frames and compartments doors painting.

I especially loved the corridor handle! Passengers always loved to lean on them over the open windows!!!
I wonder if anyone of our fellow modellers, that know the 3D printing tricks, could make some open windows to put on our coaches?

This was train 224 from Venezia S.L., which arrived in Paris daily at 06.40. The presence of this Greek carriage was exceptional. It had been chartered by a group of ΟΣΕ employees.
